Educational institutions run by the Bangladesh Army have achieved an impressive 99.26 percent pass rate in the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations.

A total of 10,066 students from 65 Army-run educational institutions participated in this year's SSC examinations, an ISPR press release said today.

Of the examinees, 8,457 were from 39 Bangla-medium institutions and 1,609 from 26 English-medium institutions.

As many as 9,992 students passed the examinations, while 6,204 secured GPA-5. The overall GPA-5 attainment rate was 62.09 percent, the release said.

It said the students' dedication, regular studies and sustained efforts played a vital role in the success.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) attributed the outstanding results to the disciplined and student-friendly educational environment prevailing in cantonment schools and colleges, as well as close guidance and quality teaching by qualified and experienced teachers.

The results were also attributed to the visionary guidance of the governing bodies of the respective institutions, effective leadership of principals and vice-principals, dedicated efforts of teachers, and the collective contribution of officers and employees.

The sincere cooperation of parents also contributed significantly to the students' achievements, the ISPR added.
