The results of this year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be published on August 10, according to a press release issued by the Ministry of Education here today.

According to the release, the theoretical examinations of this year's SSC and equivalent examinations began on April 21 and continued until May 20. The practical examinations were held from June 7 to June 14.

A total of 1,857,344 candidates appeared in the examinations under the country's 11 education boards this year. Of them, 930,305 were male and 927,039 were female.
